The Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures & Education Center features an array of artifacts from India, Sri Lanka, Japan, Thailand, and several other Asian countries. Visitors finds themselves immersed in a perpetually festive atmosphere reminiscent of Chinese New Year, Japanese kimonos, ancient porcelains, rickshaws, and other exotic objects around every turn. The museum lies in the downtown area, in Bayfront Science Park.
